• Tap the red button and talk — rant, plan, rap, ramble.
• Your words appear live on screen as you speak.
• When you stop, on-device AI writes a title, summary, key points, action items, and tags.
• Notes are saved on your phone. Full transcript always included.
• Tick off action items, send them to Reminders or Calendar (Spiel spots times like "tomorrow at two").
• Export any note as text or PDF via the share sheet.
• Works completely offline. No account, no cloud, no ads.

⚙️ How it works

1. Open Spiel (or say “Siri, start a voice note in Spiel”).
2. Talk. Watch the live transcript flow.
3. Tap stop — your sorted note lands in the list.

Is my voice uploaded anywhere?

No. Audio is transcribed live on the device and never stored, never uploaded. Not even we can hear it.

Where are my notes kept?

In a local database inside the app on your phone. Delete a note and it's gone.

Why didn't my note get a summary?

If Apple Intelligence is off or busy, Spiel saves the raw transcript so nothing is lost. Toggle Apple Intelligence on in Settings for the full experience.

Does it work in airplane mode?

Yes — after the one-time speech model download, everything runs offline.

🔒 Privacy Policy

Spiel collects no data. None.

• No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no servers. The app makes no network requests of its own.
• Microphone audio is processed in real time on your device by Apple's on-device speech recognition and is never recorded to disk, never transmitted.
• Transcripts and notes exist only in the app's local storage on your device. They are never uploaded and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the app.
• AI processing (titles, summaries, bullet points, action items, tags) runs entirely on-device via Apple Intelligence. Nothing leaves your phone.
• The one-time speech model download is performed by iOS from Apple's servers; Spiel only requests that the system install it.
• Reminders and Calendar are touched only when you explicitly tap "Add to Reminders/Calendar" on an action item — Spiel writes that single item and reads nothing.
• Purchases and app installs are handled by Apple. We receive no personal information about you.

Since no data is collected, there is nothing for us to sell, share, or lose. If this policy ever changes, the change will be listed here before it takes effect.
